Update from Susie

The Martin kids are adorable. MARLYS, I bet Victoria's artwork was beautiful!!! I thought I was looking at a picture of Emily when she was little. SEND MORE PICTURES! Hope everyone is doing great. We are so busy at the Wimmer household. The kids do not get out of school until next Wednesday. We had to make up for snow days. They are miserable and want out so badly! So much going on this summer. Vacation Bible School, parade floats, painting signs and pictures for the local pumpkin patch and getting ready for our Rotary student coming in August. He is from Brazil and sounds like a great kid. We will have him for 3-6 months.

Claire keeps asking to bake "cinnamon cookies" with me. We made Grama Morgan's famous gingersnaps one time a while back and she loved rolling them into balls and shaking them in the sugar. She calls them Cinnamon Cookies. I've got to get her over here to make them. Wish I could have all the little munchkins over to bake cookies. I miss seeing all the little "Morgan's" growing up.

We went to Iowa over Memorial weekend to attend the first Wimmer grandchild graduation from High School. Emily is next in the Wimmer family. How scary. 2010. Emily and I stopped by to put flowers on Grandpa Morgan's grave. I missed the location by 50 feet and had to go back and get a map. Poor Gramps. I'm sure he was saying "hey, I'm over here, turn around, I'm over here!".

Before we left for Iowa, Grama Morgan and I had cleaned out Grama White's closet and Emily showed up to help. We were "talking" to GW and she was going on and on about something (remember she has no teeth now and only babbles) but, right in the middle of talking and looking at Emily she made a funny face and a long noise like she was pretending the be an alarm clock. "EEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNN". Emily just about fell off her chair from laughing so hard and Grama White was laughing just as much. You had to be there it was absolutely hysterical!! She seems to have great days and bad days. That day was a great day!

Marty is traveling a lot and of course I am stuck with the dog. How lucky am I. He's in San Antonio, TX now and Minnesota later. Just a shout out to TJ to thank you for your sweet call on Mother's day. Hope your mom is doing well.

Not much else here. I'm waiting for the roofing contractor to call me to order a new roof and shutters on the front of the house. We are in desperate need of a new roof. Better go now.

I love you all and take good care.
